Inquiry: Think about your interests. Find a social media networking site that is most suitable and aligned with those interests. Think about how you might use this network personally, and then how you might use it professionally. Reflect on this on your blog.
This week we were asked to review a social media site that interests us. I chose Twitter. I did this because it is a medium that is used by professionals, amateurs and the general public alike.
It is a medium that has been fully accepted by professional journalists and is a respected means of communicating events as they happen.
It is also used by a lot of television stations to encourage conversation between media outlets and fans.
How might I use it? At this early stage in my career I will use it sparingly - ha ha. All jokes aside, the aim I think at this point is to establish a following and a name for myself. Additionally, following people of interest will enhance my learning experience.

In my search for up-to-date and informative information about this Social Network Site (SNS) I came across this video. Tim O'Reilly has some thought provoking ideas that I thought I would share:
"Tim O'Reilly, Founder and CEO of O'Reilly Media, argues that microblogging service Twitter is changing real-time information search in a way that will revolutionize the web. O'Reilly goes on to discuss the impact web search engines like Google have had on shaping human/computer interactivity."
