University Lecturers and Students





Hi and welcome to my blog... In term 2, 2014 at CQU I am learning two courses that require me to have a blog. So for this purpose I have kept my blog very simple and separated it into two sections.

Above you will see two tabs. One for my Media Writing course and one for my Working with Social Media course.

So, if you are either Kate Ames or a fellow 'Media Writing' student, please select the 'Media Writing' tab. Alternatively, if you are Brendan Murphy or a fellow 'Working with Social Media' student please select the 'Working with Social Media' Course tab.

If you want to come back to this page simply click on the Blog Name 'Victoria's Place in the World'.

As the weeks progress you will notice that the menu selection will become longer, that is because each week will have its own tab so that it is easily located.

I decided to keep this blog all about University Stuff Writing so if this bores you, feel free to visit my blogger account - WARNING: Its not very exciting either.

    Hi Victoria,

    My apologies for placing your two blogs that was so irrelevant on my blog (I added them before I sent that email wondering which one was which). I'll replace this one instead. They are definitely removed.

    I like this blog, the questions on the side is fantastic...how and where did you get these?

    What's it like having 3 blogs? How do you keep track?

    I'm thinking of doing up a professional blog in the future that is why I'm studying this course and it is really fun learning to write, right.

    Anyways, thanks for your comments on my blog and the event preparation tips.

      Hi Anna,

      Having more than one blog allows me to publish what I want, when I want to. It may sound like more work, but it is actually easier. In this blog for instance, if you look up the top you will see two tabs. Media Writing, and Working With Social Media. They don't look it, but they are actually two totally different blogs. I have a third blog ready to go called Portfolio and as I work on it and add items to it, I will create a link at the top of this blog to it as well.

      The grammar quizz on the side is one I found on line and embedded in my blog. You can make your own very easily, or do what I did and just use one that is already available.
